France is stepping up its military action against Islamic State positions in Iraq and Syria.
Air strikes are being launched from French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle from Monday, after it was deployed following the Paris attacks which killed 130 people.
French President Francois Hollande has been hosting UK Prime Minister David Cameron and the two men have agreed to increase counter-terrorism intelligence-sharing.
The Belgian capital Brussels remains on the highest level of terror alert.
And David Cameron says European countries must work better together.
