Downing Street denies vote plan for Syria air assault

The office of Prime Minister David Cameron has denied a report he will seek a parliamentary vote on Syrian air-strikes in the next few weeks. 

On Tuesday the British leader promised a "comprehensive strategy" in dealing with Islamic State in light of the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris.
