Scientists in Britain are warning that global temperatures are set to rise more than one degree above pre-industrial levels…the halfway mark towards a 2 degree rise which is considered the gateway to dangerous global warming.
This new data comes ahead of a major conference in Paris at the end of November aimed at agreeing a new global climate treaty. From London, Catherine Drew reports.
