Venezuelan opposition leader, Manuel Rosales, who in 2006 ran against late President Hugo Chavez, has been arrested after he returned to the country following six years in exile.
Mr Rosales is accused of corruption, charges that stem from his time in office as governor of the state of Zulia, between 2000 and 2008.
