Thousands of asylum seekers trying to reach the European Union have now started entering Slovenia after Hungary closed its border with Croatia.
The Hungarian government says it has no other option after EU leaders failed to find consensus on how to tackle the large numbers of refugees and migrants arriving at its borders.
