America's top general in Afghanistan has hit back at reports revolving around allegations of child sex crimes by Afghan troops.
A New York Times article published this week claimed US soldiers were ordered to ignore the alleged abuse of boys.
But General John Campbell has denied US personnel were told not to intervene.
