Germany's population rises to highest level since 1992 due to influx of immigrants

Germany's population has risen to its highest level since 1992 as thousands of immigrants settle in the country.

The numbers were announced by the German statistics agency after EU leaders met in Brussels to try to solve the current refugee crisis.
