UN Security Council Pushes For Dialogue in Burundi

The UN Security Council is urging Burundi's government to immediately reopen talks with the opposition, in an attempt to stop the cycle of violence that began after the country’s controversial presidential elections in July. France called the council together for the emergency session, during which Secretary General Ban ki-Moon suggested the UN take a larger role in the peace process.
