UN fires CAR chief over abuse allegations

The head of the United Nations mission in the Central African Republic
has been fired after claims peacekeepers in the country sexually
abused and murdered civilians.

The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called the alleged actions
"outrageous and indecent".
