Police have arrested at least nine people and deployed tear gas in the US city of St. Louis, Missouri during protests following the death of a black 18-year-old who was shot by police after he pointed a gun at them.
Police say the suspect, in his early 20s, was fleeing from officers serving a search warrant in a crime-ridden neighbourhood.
