Maker of newly-approved female libido drug sold for $1 bn

Sprout Pharmaceuticals, makers of a newly approved female libido
enhancing drug has been bought for $1 billion.

Valeant will acquire Sprout, just two days after the United States
Food and Drug Administration approved Addyi — the "first and only"
drug of its kind to get federal approval.
