Euro markets plunge amid panic over China's growth slow-down

Stock markets across Europe have plunged into the red at the start of the trading week, amid panic over the continuing slow down in China's economic growth...

The UK's FTSE 100 opened nearly 3 per cent down, with France's CAC40 and the DAX in Germany also down.

Overnight shares in Asia took huge losses, with the Shanghai Composite in China closing down 8.5%, its worst close since 2007.
