Colorado wastewater spill larger than initially thought

The head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or EPA has said "it pains me to no end" to see the Animas River in the state of Colorado that has turned yellow, after a spill has leaked over 3 million gallons of wastewater.

The federal agency has come under fire for its handling of the leak, which was accidentally triggered by one of its crews as it was trying to clean up the old mine site.

FSN's Mary MacCarthy reports from Denver:

IN: "The EPA has taken full responsibility..."
OUT: SOC
DUR: 34"
