BNY Mellon pays settlement over intern bribery claims

Bank of New York Mellon has agreed to pay almost $15 million to settle
charges it gave internships to wealthy Middle Eastern clients.

US anti-bribery laws ban the influencing of foreign clients to try and
retain business.
