After 12 dead, New York Mayor proposes preventive measures against Legionnaire's disease

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio has proposed new legislation to prevent
a future outbreak of Legionnaire's disease -- a severe form of
pneumonia contracted by breathing in air containing Legionella
bacteria.

In the last month, 113 cases have been reported in the South Bronx
borough - 12 were fatal.
