Palestinian and Israel support for two-state solution fading, warns UN envoy

Palestinian and Israeli support for a two-state solution to the conflict is fading away, warned a key United Nations official on Thursday.

Briefing the U-N Security Council, the envoy for the Middle East Nickolay Mladenov said unilateral activities in the West Bank -- including settlement construction, so-called legalisation of outposts, demolitions and evictions -- must stop.
