World powers and Iran have reached a deal to limit Tehran's nuclear programme in exchange for sanctions relief.
Tehran says it is an 'historic' deal, and the European Union describes it as a 'sign of hope for the entire world'.
Iran has been discussing its nuclear programme with six world powers - the US, UK, China, Russia, and France, plus Germany - on and off since 2006.
The so-called P5+1 group of powers have been trying to stop Tehran from acquiring a nuclear weapon - although Iran has always insisted its nuclear activities are peaceful.
The deal to remove sanctions will now have to be approved by US Congress.
The International Atomic Energy Agency has also signed a deal with Iran in Vienna, according to IAEA boss Yukiya Amano.
