US hails death of AQAP leader

The Obama administration is confirming Nasser al-Wuhayshi, the leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, has been killed by a missile fired from a drone, a fact also confirmed by an Al Qaeda video.

Al-Wuhayshi has been targeted at least twice before for his role as the second highest in command of the global terrorist network.

Dr. David Andrew Weinberg is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and he says, this is good news.
