UN urges end of barrel bomb attacks in Syria

The United Nations has condemned the use of barrel bombs against civilian populations in Syria, calling them "inhumane" and "indiscriminate".

The specially-held meeting was led by the French and Spanish ambassadors who claim the Syrian government is using them to target innocent civilians.
