The United Nations has accused Eritrea of crimes against humanity, in
a new report detailing human rights violations in the East African
state. UN investigators said in a statement the human rights abuses
were happening on a "scale seldom witnessed elsewhere," and that up to
5,000 people a month are risking death to escape the country. Patrice
