Syria fighting forces 60,000 to flee homes

An estimated 60,000 people from the Syrian city of Hasaka have fled
their homes following an advance from the self-proclaimed Islamic
State in the area.

The group is believed to have captured at least one district in a city
already divided by Syrian government forces and Kurdish fighters.

William Denselow reports from the United Nations in New York.
