The US House of Representatives has dealt a huge blow to President Barack Obama's trade agenda, by preventing a bill granting him so-called 'fast track' authority from reaching his desk.
The House voted overwhelmingly to scuttle a trade package that he was hoping would lead to a speedy conclusion of negotiations on the 12-nation Trans Pacific Partnership deal.
