European Commission Opens Investigation into Amazon's distribution of Electronic Books

The European Commission has opened a formal investigation into business practices by Amazon in its distribution of electronic books.

Amazon owns the popular ebook device Kindle, and is the largest distributor of ebooks in Europe.
