UNESCO calls for preservation of Syria's Palmyra

With the Islamic State taking control of the Syrian city of Palmyra,
the United Nations is calling on fighters not to destroy the city's
ancient ruins.

It comes as an activist organization says IS now controls more than
half of Syria.
