Tensions between the US and China over the South China Sea are likely to ratchet up a notch this weekend, as Secretary of State John Kerry arrives in Beijing for talks with senior Chinese officials.
Mr. Kerry plans to confront them over China's assertive territorial claims in the area, one of the world's most important and contested waterways, through which 5 trillion dollars worth of shipping passes every year.
