Ramadi falls to IS presenting new challenge for Obama administration

The Iraqi city of Ramadi has completely fallen into the control of Islamic State after the Iraqi army fled to escape the advancing extremists.


There have been reports of widespread executions on the streets of the city and Iraq's Prime Minister is now asking Shi'ite fighters - backed by Iran - to try and recapture the city.


Our Washington Correspondent Simon Marks says Ramadi's fall is a devastating blow for the Obama administration.
