The first criminal trial over the Libor rate rigging scandal is taking place in a court in London today.
Former UBS and Citigroup trader Tom Hayes is appearing at Southwark Crown court to face charges of conspiring to manipulate the London interbank offered rate, which is a key benchmark in determining borrowing costs.
