TAX TAKES CENTRE STAGE IN UK ELECTION

Tax cuts are moving to the centre of the UK's general election campaign with the major parties preparing to unveil their manifestos.

The coalition-leading Conservative Party says it wants to slash inheritance tax in the UK - while opposition Labour says it shows Conservative priorities are skewed towards the richest.

The latest polls continue to suggest Labour and the Conservatives are neck-and-neck ahead of May 7th's vote, with a hung parliament and another coalition government therefore a strong possibility.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt says the election campaign is hotting up.
