President Obama admits US strike on Afghan-Pakistan border killed two western hostages

The White House has admitted that it killed two western hostages in a counter-terrorism operation on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The apparent drone strike occurred back in January, but the US government kept information around it secret until now.
