French far-right party thrown into internal family dispute

France's far-right political party - the Front National - is facing another series of controversy as its leader, Marine le Pen, announces she will oppose the candidacy of her own father for national elections.

Jean-Marie le Pen - the founder of the party - who handed over the reigns to his daughter in 2011, will not receive her support for him to run for the Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur seat in the south of France.
