Foreigners flee South African cities as xenophobic attacks increase

INTRO:  At least five people have been killed and dozens injured in what aid organisations say are xenophobic attacks targeting foreign shop owners in South Africa. In the city of Durban in the Kwazulu-Natal province, at least 74 people have been arrested for attacking foreigners and looting their businesses. Almost 800 extra policemen have been deployed into the city. Many foreigners have fled to an already crowded refugee camp outside the city. Gary Alfonso reports ...
