A Yemeni-American was killed in a rebel attack while visiting family in the war torn country last week.
Jamal al-Labani had been planning to bring his wife, who is pregnant, and their two-year old daughter back to the United States.
Violence in Yemen has claimed hundreds of lives in under two weeks of fighting.
