Cameron launches the Conservative's election manifesto, claims to be the party for working people

British Prime Minister David Cameron has launched the Conservatives election manifesto calling his party the real party for working people.

With just over 3 weeks to go before the general election, both major parties, Labour and the Conservatives are neck and neck in opinion polls.

Mr Cameron promised a future Conservative government would eliminate Britain's deficit within the next parliament and showcased a new policy giving social housing tenants the right to buy their homes, along with a promise to build hundreds of thousands of new homes.

Other Conservative pledges include cutting taxes particularly for people who earn the minimum wage, improving schools and holding a referendum on Britain's European Union membership.
