US markets down ahead of Fed meeting

The Federal Reserve's two day meeting on monetary policy is under way
in the United States with interest rates at the top of the agenda.

The markets were down by midday trading Tuesday as investors on Wall
Street await clues on when the Fed may begin to hike rates in the US.
