U.S. Justice Dep’t says Ferguson police officer won't face federal charges

A Justice Department investigation has cleared Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson of civil rights violations in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

The August killing of the unarmed black teen by the white officer sparked months of protests and a national debate over police treatment of minorities.
