UN examines failures by US to investigate civil rights deaths

The United Nations has heard how the US government has failed to
investigate the murder of hundreds of African Americans during the
civil rights movement.

A team from a New York university is calling for the cold cases to be
re-examined and the perpetrators brought to justice.
