Singapore's first and longest serving Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew, has died at the age of 91 from severe pneumonia. Lee was named Prime Minister of Singapore in 1959, and stayed in power for over three decades, overseeing the nation's transformation from port city battling poverty, to prosperious business hub.
