Russian President Putin admits sanctions are doing damage

Russian President Vladimir Putin has acknowledged that international sanctions over Russia's actions in Crimea and eastern Ukraine are damaging Russia's economic progress.


He made the comments at a state organised rally to celebrate a year since Russia's annexation of the Crimea peninsula.
