Protests outside ECB turn violent

Anti-austerity demonstrations outside the European Central Bank in Frankfurt have already turned violent after protesters torched police cars and threw stones at officers.

The march was organised by several leftist groups as a peaceful protest against the bank's new multi million dollar headquarters while enforcing austerity across Europe...

Subsequent clashes though saw more than a dozen activists and officers injured.
