Police Settle Missouri Suit Over Use of Tear Gas


Three police agencies in Missouri have agreed to restrict the use of tear gas in response to non criminal activity.

The move is part of the settlement of a lawsuit alleging that officers used overly harsh tactics to deal with protestors in Ferguson after a white officer fatally shot an unarmed black teenager.
