Death toll climbs following Vanuatu cyclone

The United Nations has confirmed at least 24 died when Cyclone Pam tore across the island nation of Vanuatu.

Some 3,300 have been displaced and those numbers are expected to rise as communication is restored to smaller, outlying islands.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest said America is offering help to these remote nations:

IN: "We offer our...
OUT: ...our response."
DUR: 34
