Brain-damaged Missouri killer fights execution

The fate of a man with brain damage hangs in the balance as the U.S. state of Missouri moves to put him to death [Tuesday].

The convicted killer is missing a small part of his brain and has appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court to stop his execution.

His defense team is arguing his disability rules him out for the death penalty.
