An American man faces up to five years in prison in the United Arab Emirates after being arrested over comments he posted on Facebook in the United States.
Helicopter mechanic Ryan Pate took to Facebook while in Florida after a dispute over sick leave with his employer Global Aerospace Logistics .
On returning to Abu Dhabi he was arrested for breaking the country's strict cyber-slander laws.
