Alabama counties stop issuing marriage licenses after ruling

Some counties in the southern American state of Alambama have stopped issuing marriage licenses after a new ruling on same-sex marriage for that state.

The justices of Alabama's state Supreme Court ruled that only state courts have a say in defining marriage, therefore licenses can only be issued to man-woman couples.
