US wants to increase pressure on Russia if Ukraine deal not accepted

The Obama administration says it is working with its partners on ways to increase pressure on Russia if Moscow does not accept the peace proposals for Ukraine.

French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have travelled to Russia to deliver Kiev's proposals which would return the status quo to the agreement reached last September.

U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice confirmed that Washington and its allies are considering ways to increase the pressure on Russia to change its cource on Ukraine.
