The UK's coalition government is showing growing signs of strain as political parties gear up for a general election in May.
Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron has accused his partner Liberal Democrats of being 'all over the place' on the issue of cutting the UK's budget deficit.
But now Lib Dem Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander says the Conservatives are being 'blown off course' and their plans are 'not economically credible'.
This just days after an Autumn Statement - essentially a mini-budget - signed off by both parties.
As political reporter Theo Usherwood says, Mr Alexander's latest intervention is another example of the coalition partners trying to emphasises their differences ahead of an election.
