US President Barack Obama has defended his decision to start dismantling Washington's decades-old trade embargo on Cuba.
The President has signaled he will start using his executive powers as early as next month to lift travel and economic restrictions on Cuba.
The White House says this marks the beginning of sweeping changes in approach to the Communist regime- changes the President can make without the support of Congress.
