Ukrainians go to the polls as fighting with pro-Russia militants continues

Ukrainians are going to the polls today, in parliamentary elections which many expect to bring in politicians more supportive of reforms President Petro Poroshenko and his government have been trying to enact.


But it's estimated as many as half the polling stations are closed in eastern regions of Ukraine were pro-Russian militants have been fighting Ukrainian forces.
