State says Pistorius can receive fair treatment in prison

INTRO:  The Prosecution in the case against Paralympic athlete Oscar Pistorius, who has been found guilty of culpable homicide (manslaughter) for killing his girlfriend, says the disabled athlete will be safe if given a prison sentence. The High Court in South Africa has been hearing arguments in mitigation and aggravation of sentence. The judge may sentence Pistorius tomorrow and the athlete could receive anything from a fine to 15 years in prison, The athlete says he mistook his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp for an intruder when he shot and killed her in February last year. Steenkamp's family has asked the court for justice.
