REWARD OFFERED AFTER MURDER OF SOUTH AFRICAN FOOTBALL CAPTAIN

A reward is being offered in South Africa for information leading to the arrest of suspects in the fatal shooting of the country's football captain.

Goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was reportedly attacked when men broke into his girlfriend's house south of Johannesburg.

Local media says one of the men demanded Meyiwa's mobile phone.

He was 27 years old and had played for his club Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

Kaizer Motaung, founder of the Kaizer Chiefs Football Club in South Africa says his club is in mourning along with the country.
